Join GCR at the National Book Awards Teen Press Conference!

The Executive Director of the National Book Foundation would like to invite students, children, and Get Caught Reading supporters to join middle and high schoolers via web stream at a National Book Awards event. At the annual National Book Awards Teen Press Conference, middle and high school students in New York City play the role of reporters as they direct questions to the five Finalists for the National Book Award in Young People's Literature.

This year, for the first time ever, the Teen Press Conference, hosted by Scholastic, Inc. and emceed by acclaimed young adult author and Scholastic editor David Levithan, will be streamed live online, allowing students from across the country to experience this one-of-a-kind event right from their classrooms. The Conference will take place at Scholastic in New York City on Tuesday, November 15 at 12:30 p.m. EST. Registration to view the web stream is now open at http://www.nationalbook.org/nba_ypl_prconference.html.
